Speaking and Workshop
Topics
The workplace and life are
full of change, change, change. And we need leaders to herald that change and
keep productivity, processes and people focused. We work with individuals and
organizations experiencing changes in leadership, product focus, process
management and career change and skill upgrades. We do "Sunrise Semesters" at
utilities, regularly scheduled workshops from 9-5 or 8-4 and Sunset MBA classes
from 5 to 9 PM. We flex-but please not all on the same day! After all, we do
live our lives too!
In our workshops and speaking engagements, we focus
on the following:
Careers and Change
- Dealing with Change: Helping People, Teams
and Organizations deal productively with change.
- Retooling Work Processes: Planning,
Integrating and Implementing new systems or procedures.
Leadership and Team
Dynamics
- Coaching Clinic: This is the Corporate Coach
University's dynamic two-day or accelerated one-day program that builds a
leader's coaching skill and also offers ample opportunity to practice and be
coached post-workshop.
- Communication Strategies: What Personal Learning Style type are you? Learn
how style differences impact your interactions with your boss, peers, teams,
vendors and clients. How does your staff take in information: Are they Visual,
Auditory or Kinesthetic? Practice listening and giving/receiving feedback to
improve your effectiveness. Do you create a Team Charter before/after Conflicts
arise?
- Dealing With Difficult People: Every
organization and community has them. And everyone is someone's difficult
person. Identify 15 difficult behaviors, better yet, deal with those behaviors
and don't retreat.
- Adventure in Attitudes: Attitude is
everything. And, as the leader goes, so goes the team. Learn how you and your
team's attitudes impact the workplace and how to influence them as a
leader.
Work and Life Balance
- Enough Is Enough Already: Identifying Your
Priorities and Core Values: a starting point before coaching. What's
important to your and what needs doing first and foremost?
- Stress and Time Management: Except for leap
year, there are 168 hours a week, 52 weeks and 365 days a year to work and life
your life. Our short surveys indicate your level of stress and how you manage
time-and then we deal with the reality of your work and life.
